Stealth Translations can offer certified translations in each of our language combinations, using fully qualified and experienced native-speaking translators. A certified translation is a one which must be formally verified for use in official purposes; for example, birth, marriage or divorce certificates, required for Immigration.

Basic Certification / Notarisation

The Basic Certification Service is simply an accurate translation accompanied by a signed statement from Stealth Translations, affirming that the source language has been accurately and completely translated into the target language.

Sworn Certification / Notarisation / Affidavit

The Sworn Certification Service includes translation by a professional translator who has been officially authorised by the appropriate government to translate and notarise official documents. Sworn Certified documents are official documents in their own right, stamped with an official declaration.

If the translation is required for legal purposes, such as divorce proceedings, the requesting body may require translation by Affidavit, which includes a declaration in writing and on oath before a solicitor or public notary, by the translator, that the translation is accurate and complete. In this case, the translation and the original documents are officially stamped.

Apostille Certification

For official documents which must be presented outside of the UK, Apostille Certification is often required. This process involves a Sworn Translation to be Apostilled (checked and confirmed) by a Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Justice Ministry, Foreign Ministry or US State Department. Once Apostilled, a document is certified and legal for use in another country.
